THE NEVERENDS return to Prototype for their album release show on June 3. The Neverends are an indie and alternative rock band from New Milford. Their sound has catchy and persistent guitar and bass riffs, confident drums to create grooves for clear personal lyrics. Jime Testa says they "take the Strokes' millenial insouciance as a starting point and then infuse it with post-emo passion, math-rock time signatures, sparkling guitar-pop, jazzy pop, and reconfigured reggae."
JACK POWERS (his real name!) plays guitar-driven indie with soul and 2000s alternative influences, and sometimes self-referential lyrics. OM-53 plays indie synth-pop that flirts with nostalgia, faith, gratitude, and acceptance, using analog synths, lush chorus guitars, and catchy melodies.
